Broom Making Classes

We offer a variety of classes for all experience levels.  We are located in Monroe, Utah.  Monroe is a great little town, nestled in the mountains.  Contact us at corncreekfiber@gmail.com to schedule individual or group classes.

 

Broom Making Class

The broom class consists of two half-day classes.  You will learn how to weave and stitch the broom.  At the end of the second day, you will have a finished broom.

The first day is working with wet broomcorn stalks. This must dry before moving to the second and final step of stitching the broom.  

Lunch is provided, as well and tools, supplies, and snacks.  Use the free time to enjoy the local hot springs, mountains, or national parks that are just an hour away.
